Bush extravaganza

A nice little trip to Tidbinbilla today for the annual 'extravaganza', although a little on the warm side again—looks like winter will definitely be the best time to visit. Tidbinbilla is so very close to home and usually, wonderfully, feels a world away, except on days like today where it seemed half the city had turned out for the festivities!
For someone who used to have such an intense fear of flying, surprisingly I have always loved watching helicopters take off and land so watching the joy flights was a bit of a treat for me...
